September 2012 - I joined Elevations Health Club January 2012.  I decided to try the weight loss program because I wanted to support my husband, who was going to join. I also wanted to get better control of the balance between my exercising and eating.  I wanted to get the weight off, keep it off, and get in shape.

The online food tracking program that was suggested by our group trainer made a tremendous difference in the way I view exercise in relationship to eating.  This tool, along with the exercises, weekly tips, and weekly group meetings, helped me achieve my current weight.  My body is continuously being transformed and reformed with exercise and better eating habits. 

When I started the program in February 2012, I weighed in at 144.  Now my current weight is 126. The most important part about it is that I have learned to keep off the weight.  In addition to losing the weight, I have lost body fat and gained muscle.  I am 56 years old and I am more physically fit than I was 10 or even 15 years ago.

Elevations Health Club is not your ordinary run-of-the-mill fitness center.  They offer a number of different programs. You will never become bored with their exercise routines.  I believe I have tried everything they have to offer. I know that there is something at Elevations for everyone, no matter what your fitness level is.

 I attend Elevations an average of 4 times a week. I have now added running to my itinerary.  I am running an average of 6 miles at least three times a week, something I could not have done back in January or February.  My fitness goals include doing my first Spartan race next year and one day running a marathon.  I will continue to take advantage of all that Elevations Health Club has to offer, knowing that through them I will be able to reach all of my fitness goals.

All the trainers, instructors, and staff at Elevations are very helpful, friendly, and willing to go out of their way to make you feel empowered to reach your goals.
